Safeguarding Policy

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults is the process of:

  • Protecting children, young people and vulnerable adults from maltreatment
  • Preventing the impairment of children, young people and vulnerable adults’ health or development
  • Ensuring that children, young people and vulnerable adults are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care
  • Taking action to enable all children, young people and vulnerable adults have the best life chances

The purpose of this policy is to protect children, young people and vulnerable adults, and provide stakeholders and the public with the overarching principles that guide our approach in doing so.

Whistleblowing Policy

We deliver high quality services and expect high standards from our employees and providers. In order to maintain those high standards, a culture of openness and accountability is vitally important. The aims of this policy are threefold:

  • To encourage clients to raise concerns about malpractice within the organisation without fear of reprisal
  • To reassure clients that their concerns will be taken seriously
  • To provide information about how to raise concerns and explain how the EASE will respond
